Askeri h\u00fcviyete sahip olan Asya imparatorluklar\u0131nda varl\u0131\u011f\u0131yla devleti g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir birlik alt\u0131nda toplayan liderler zaferleriyle k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede bu co\u011frafyada hakim olabiliyorlard\u0131. Fakat bu sistemin \u00e7\u00f6k\u00fc\u015f\u00fc y\u00fckseli\u015fine zemin haz\u0131rlayan sebepte yat\u0131yordu, yani her \u015fey bir tek lidere ba\u011fl\u0131yd\u0131. Devleti kuran ki\u015finin \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc, arkas\u0131ndan gelen liderlerin da\u011f\u0131lan boy birli\u011fini tekrar sa\u011flayamamalar\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6k\u00fc\u015fe sebep oluyordu. Orta Asya ac\u0131mas\u0131z hayat \u015fartlar\u0131n\u0131n insan\u0131 \u00e7elikle\u015ftirdi\u011fi bir co\u011frafyad\u0131r. Nas\u0131l so\u011fuk k\u0131\u015f gecelerinde a\u00e7 gezen kurtlar, kendi s\u00fcr\u00fclerinden bile olsa, kan kokusu ald\u0131klar\u0131nda yaral\u0131 kurdu par\u00e7alay\u0131p yiyebiliyorlarsa, boylar da birbirlerini b\u00f6yle yok edebiliyorlard\u0131. Oysa \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fclen kurt, o s\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn bir ferdidir. \u0130nsan mant\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ac\u0131mas\u0131zl\u0131k \u015feklinde g\u00f6r\u00fcnen bu olay, hayatta kalmak i\u00e7in \u00f6ld\u00fcrmenin zaruretini a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a g\u00f6stermektedir. Hayatta kalabilmenin tek yolu budur. \u00d6lmek ya da ya\u015famak aras\u0131nda yap\u0131lacak se\u00e7im her \u015feyin sonunu belirlemektedir.
